Paultons Park Rides and Attractions
Below is a list of some of the most popular rides and attractions that you will find on your trip to Paultons Park:
Magma – This ride sits 25 feet from the ground, and spins its riders as it launches. The minimum height to ride is 1.10m
The Edge – This ride swings riders at a 45-degree angle, and houses a lap bar seat. The minimum height to ride is 1.20m
The Flight of the Pterosaur – This ride has a seatbelt feature and is a sit-down ride. It takes riders through a dinosaur themed part of the park, and the minimum height requirement is 1.0m
The Velociraptor – This ride also sits in the dinosaur themed part of the park and has a height requirement of 1.0m
Kontiki – This pirate themed ride swings riders out as though they are on a pirate ship. The height requirement for this ride is 900mm
Raging River Ride Log Flume – This log flume ride has two large drops and has a minimum height requirement of 950mm
Daddy Pig’s Car Ride – Set in Peppa Pig world, this ride is for young children and has no height requirement.
Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride – This ride takes riders off the ground and spins them in balloon shaped pods, there is no height requirement for this ride
Peppa Pig World
If your child loves Peppa Pig, they’ll love Peppa Pig world! With 7 themed rides, an indoor play space and themed buildings that look like the belong in the Peppa Pig universe, it’s fun for the whole family! Rides in this part of the park include George’s dinosaur Adventure ride and Miss Rabbit’s Helicopter Flight. There’s also Peppa’s toy shop, for those who would like to take a souvenir away from the experience. If you’re looking for refreshments at Peppa Pig World, you’ll find themed restaurants such as Daddy Pig’s Big Tummy Cafe, and Miss Rabbit’s Ice Cream.
Lost Kingdom is a prehistoric-themed land, with Dino themed rides and adventures suitable for the whole family. The land has animatronic dinosaurs walking around to greet guests and is home to rides such as Boulder Run and Temple Dash. The Lost Kingdom also has a souvenir shop called Outpost 12, where family members can buy dino merch to remember their day at Paultons Park.
Animals and Gardens
At Paultons Park, there is an array of animals you can see and gardens for you to walk in. Why not help feed the penguins at their enclosure, or visit the Birds of Prey? There is also a Meerkat manor which houses African Meerkats, and a section for Flamingos as well as giant Giant Sea turtles. If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle at the park, why not visit some of their many parks and woodland walk areas? The Main Garden sits on the site of the old Paultons House, and Forest Friends garden is home to bunnies and badgers, who you many catch a glimpse of on your travels.

Summer Club – This club for children can be for 1 or 3 days, and shows them the rides, an encounter with the animals and includes food and other activities throughout the day.
Christmas at Paultons – This annual event is host to many shows and events for the whole family to enjoy. This year, you could enjoy a 4D Sleigh Ride, a Peppa Pig spectacular, a giant singalong Christmas tree, and many more attractions over the Christmas period. Founded in 1983, the park is established on the Paulton’s estate. Over the years, the land and estate have been owned by many people, including the Abbott of Glastonbury in 1323. Since 1983, Paulton Park has expanded in many ways, including the expansion and introduction of Peppa Pig World.
