Choosing the right ship for you

P&O Cruises currently has a fleet of 7 luxury cruise liners on the oceans, with 5 family-friendly ships and 2 adults-only cruise liners. The family ships are the Britannia, Ventura and Azura, three enormous flagship cruise liners; and two smaller ships, the Aurora and Oceana. The cruise ships set aside exclusively for adults are the Arcadia and Oriana, both mid-sized cruise liners.

P&O Ships contact numberWhen it comes to deciding which ship is right for you and your holiday, the official advice from the company is; treat your cruise ship like you would treat a hotel. Those who have never been on a cruise holiday before might find the choice a little intimidating, but once the destination is decided the cruise ship itself isn’t as scary a choice as it first appears.

Thinking about the ships the way you would think about hotels, reasons P&O Cruises, is the best way to go about choosing one since every hotel has a different feel, a different aesthetic and a different ambience, all of which contribute to the overall experience – and each one has slightly different facilities.

The best way to decide is simply to pick the ship with the “feel” and facilities that you think suit you best, and best describe the kind of holiday you want to have!
